Responsibility for foreign content

NRA is not responsible for the legality, completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the content of information resources of third parties to which they can link electronic links from this site, or the legality of the activities of these third parties. Personal data

Personal data is collected through this website, the mobile application of NRA and processed by the NRA solely for the purposes of providing electronic public services, in strict compliance with the requirements of the e-Governance and the Protection of personal data. Collection and processing of personal data for other purposes shall be made voluntarily and only after express consent of the supplying persons in compliance with the Law on Personal Data Protection.

Rules of Confidentiality of Information for Users of the NRA’s Mobile Application

Provision of personal data by users

When using the NRA’s mobile app to check your health insurance status, VAT registration, time limits for declaration and payment of taxes and social security contributions, find the nearest office of the revenue administration office or the nearest local taxes and fees office of the municipal administration, etc., you provide us with your personal data (name, e-mail address, age, username, password and other registration, identification and contact information) and give your consent to have it processed under the current rules.  

Processing of users’ personal data

Your personal data may be processed, in accordance with the legislation in force, for the following purposes:

  • to answer your queries; 
  • to improve our service; 
  • to inform you about our new services; 
  • to seek your opinion and recommendations on the services offered; 
  • for our own purposes related to administration or provision of a higher quality of service; 
  • for other purposes as described on the NRA’s website or mobile application.

Automatic collection of information

Applications for mobile devices may collect certain information automatically. Such data include: type of mobile device, operating system version, unique identification numbers of the device, mobile network data, type of internet browser, information on how to use the application.  

Collection of location information

When using mobile applications, information about your location is collected and processed which helps personalize your operations. To determine your location, different types of technology are used, including IP address, GPS and other sensors that can provide information on devices. These confidentiality rules ensure that we will not disclose your current location to third parties. If you do not want us to use your location information, you need to disable the mobile app location service, located in the settings of your account or mobile phone and/or in the mobile application.

Right to opt out from the use of the NRA’s mobile device

If you want to suspend the access to your personal data, you may opt out from the use of the mobile application of the National Revenue Agency. You may do so by uninstalling the app, using the standard uninstall option, accessible via your telephone, or using Google app store or Apple app store. You may also dismiss the use of the application via the e-mail address of the NRA’s Information Center at [email protected].

Protection of your personal data

The information and personal data provided by you will not be disclosed to third parties, except in cases determined by law, and they will be stored for the time you use the application and within a reasonable period thereafter. The automatically collected information will be kept for up to 24 months and can then be stored in a summarized form. If you want your user account data and the automatically gathered information deleted, you can contact us at [email protected]. Please note that some or all data collected while using the application are needed so that it could operate correctly and the user could receive better service.

Use of the application by minors

The NRA’s mobile application referred to in these confidentiality rules is not intended or designed for persons under 16 years of age. We do not collect personal data or information via this website from visitors of this age group, without the express consent of their parents or guardians.

Modifications

These confidentiality rules concerning information about users of the NRA’s software application for mobile devices may be subject to changes and updates. You are advised to periodically review them in order to be informed on how collected personal data is protected. By continuing to use the NRA’s app, you express your consent to these rules of confidentiality and any updates thereto.

Consent to use

When you use the app, you authorize us to process your personal data as described herein. This includes the use of “cookies”, which are text computer data stored in the user’s browser, intended for use by web pages. This data allows for identification of the user’s device and the proper conduct of a webpage, in line with their individual preferences. “Cookies” typically contain the name of the website, the storage time on the terminal device and a unique number.
